DAX 40 Continues Surging Amid Eurozone Inflation Dips

The DAX 40 remains on an upward trajectory as eurozone inflation disappoints expectations. The July peak at 16,532 is within reach, encountering minor resistance at the 16,421 31 July low. Investors have identified support levels below Friday’s intraday low at 16,236 and Thursday’s 16,165 low. More substantial support is observed between the August and September highs, ranging from 16,044 to 15,992.

S&P 500 Records Best November Since 1980

Despite a slowdown in the sharp November rally, the S&P 500 continues to trade at four-month highs. The index maintained momentum as the Fed’s preferred PCE inflation gauge aligned with expectations at 3% year-on-year in October. November marked the best-performing month for the S&P 500 this year and the strongest November since 1980. Identified resistance levels include the November peak at 4,587 and the subsequent July peak at 4,607. The short-term uptrend remains intact, with this week’s lows at 4,539 and 4,537 providing support. Further potential support sits at the 4,516 mid-September high.

In summary, the FTSE 100, DAX 40, and S&P 500 demonstrate resilience in the face of economic challenges, maintaining positive trajectories amidst fluctuations in global markets.
